CTI CONSULTING will once again be represented at EAMKON this year, taking place from 19 to 21 June 2018 in Stuttgart.

EAMKON is an annual conference on architecture management. In the meantime, it has become one of the leading events for corporate architecture in the DACH regio.

CTI will be present with its own booth and a presentation at the conference to present their consulting services. This year’s theme of the lecture, co-moderated with the Swiss private bank Julius Baer, is:

GDPR and DSGVO: What can architecture management do to meet legal requirements? A best practices report.

With the release of the final version for (General Data Protection Regulation or in Germany DS-GVO – EU General Data Protection Regulation) the European Union has created a legally binding, uniform set of rules for the protection of personal data and against data misuse. This applies to all companies operating within the European Union, both multinational corporations and mid-sized companies from 25 May 2018.

As part of their appearance at the EAMKON, the speakers from CTI and the Julius Baer bank show how to meet the regulatory requirements of the EU Data Protection Regulation on the basis of Enterprise Architecture Management and which procedures have proven to be successful. This is primarily to be understood as an offer to all companies that still have some catching up to do in this regard. According to current estimates, around 50% of all companies are not or insufficiently prepared for these legal requirements, although the penalties imposed by the legislator may be draconian (up to 4% of annual turnover or 20 million euros).
